After the trade that sent him to Pittsburgh for a king’s ransom of failed Penguin Alex Galchenyuk, a first rounder, and Calen Addison, he debuted for the Pens on Tuesday night against the Tampa Bay Lightning. He played on a line with Dominic Simon and Sidney Crosby, who we all know can make anybody succeed at any level. Zucker had a couple of chances to score, one being a great pad save by Andrei Vasilevskiy after a great pass by Crosby. What really impressed a lot of people was his speed, myself included. He is almost like a Carl Hagelin from the 2016 Stanley Cup winning team, but he can score goals. I assume that they will work out whatever issues that took place against the Lightning, having lost in OT 2-1. Crosby and Zucker really clicked out there and I hope that they move Jared McCann back to Crosby’s other wing to give a great top line for Coach Mike Sullivan. They will eventually work it out, this is only the sencond day he’s been a member of the team. I am just saying that whoever in Pittsburgh says that they overpaid to get him is wrong. Just go watch him play. Do it. Take my word for it.
